hi! well after getting my cj for a song and towing her home, i started the process of repairing a heavily butchered harness and set about getting her running after years of abuse and nearly ten years of sitting on the side of a family members garage. the po had been very poorly patching instead of repairing which did more bad then good. being a new jeep owner, i was able to come up with quite a bit of info (thank you every one who knew or other wise for the help). with that i had her running in about two days and 90 percent of the electrical operating within two weeks. so that said its been fun so far, here are a few pics of her when she came to her new home.

Very nice. Look forward to seeing the build up. Good job on getting it running again, that must've beena great feeling.

well after changing all the vacuum lines adding a battery, changing the oil, and getting the wires on the right plugs, with the help of fresh gas and some starting fluid it turned right over. i upgraded the igntion to a bigger cap and better rotor (team rush a great upgrade). changed out all the fluids some rattle can primer and iam just about ready to get her on the road and shake her down.

thanks it was pretty cool knowing i did it. i still have a long way to go but its a start>:chug:

the body still needs alotta work the windshield and frame are garbage, but with a new jersey winter ahead i figured i might as well protect whats left. lol. i sprayed the floor with spray on bedliner and as soon as i get the paper work done and can get her on the road, iam gonna take it over to my fire dept and hit the underbody with the pressure washer and get started coating the frame.

yeah thats my cat evil. she likes to sit on the bikini top and watch me work!:D

Lots of fun awaits!

well today wasnt much. another oil change with marvel mystery oil to try and get out some of that crude i know is hiding in there lol. sunday should be cool big car show swap meet at raceway park in nj. me and my little guy are heading out, so hopefully i can get some more jeep stuff.

well i hit my first real road block and any help would be great. i need to insure my jeep but my company is very expensive, and things are really tight does anybody know of a good reasonable company for those of us stuck in jersey?

well i hate to admit it and maybe it was a mistake, but i put marvel mystery oil in with an oil change i did about three weeks ago or so and well it seems to have made a difference. i know i will probably get my chops busted but it is idling smoother.
