With the cowl grate off take a heat gun (hair dryer) and heat up where the duct meets the tub. Try and slide a paint scraper all the way around the hole seperating it from the tub. When I was removing mine I took a prybar and pryed from the inside. If you do this take a plate of some kind and spread the force out across the plastic or it will break

This reminds me, I need to seal my heater duct to the cowl with some silicone. I just bolted it together when I assembled my fiberglass tub, and it dripps a little under the dash when it rains. I keep forgetting to do this.
Back to the original subject, as long as you removed all the cowl vent screws, the only thing that could be holding it in is whatever sealer they use from the factory. Do what the prvious poster said and take a putty knife and push it around the perimeter between the duct and the tub cowl.
