drive line angle

Can anyone tell me, with a 2.5" lift on a 64 CJ, would I have to worry about drive line angle?
mine came with shims. i have the front and rear ones in. im thinking of pulling the front ones out cause it dont come back to center like it should just to see if theres a difference.
I'm surprised they gave you shims for the front with the length of the Cjs front drive shaft. I never used them in the front , especially with a 2 1/2 in. lift.
If it's a properly created spring under - I don't think so. Some 2.5" lifts come with a degree shim for the rear end and may come with a Transfer Case drop spacer.
I have the CV conversions on my drive shafts the rearend is angled up and the Transfer Case is dropped 4" lift can i get away with removing the spacers and putting the Transfer Case back where it goes?????T case drops do nothing for you but waste money. You just spent a ton for the lift and now you want to take some of that away by dropping the tcase to cure a bit of driveline vibration? Instead you need to get a cv style driveshaft and angle your rear axle.
Tom Woods has a great reputation, and has even given me a leather jacket with his name on it to wear. But he is not the only guy on the block doing great work. Some guys on his par but cheaper are Inland driveline in Corona Ca, who I use a lot, they specialize in hot rods and race cars, so they know one off custom work and get it right the first time, and Adams Driveshaft in Henderson Nevada, there gauys are all wheelers and do great work.
I would recomend either of them for a custom driveshaft. get your measurements, tel them the amount of travel and what u joints you will be using on what end, and blamo, get a killer driveshaft.
