84 CJ7 , 5" lift. Going to 35" tires and 1" body lift. Would a dual steering stabilizer fit? Doesen't look like there is much room. Would a single work OK? I have mine off because it was leaking.

I have 36 inch tires and a single stabilizer.
They help and a single stabilizer can be good. On the other hand they can also cover up shimmy and other steering problems. Many members on this site don't have any steering stabilizer and don't have any problems. For 35 inch tires I would install one. Two are unnecessary.
On a slightly related topic; remember how the dual and multiple shocks were so popular in the '80s? They rode like a tank because they didn't' install lower dampening shocks. The idea was that multiple shocks would dissipate heat better but it really was all about looks.
You can make 2 stabilizers fit with a little effort but as stated, why bother? I don't have a steering stabilizer on the front of my CJ5 w/36" tires - in the 26 years I've owned it, never thought that it needed one. If you are experiencing shake, shimmy etc I'd suggest getting to the bottom of it before slapping on a stabilizer to mask the problem. BTW, I'm commuting 30 miles a day in my CJ5 - mostly highway driving.

I think first you should go with out a stabilizer, at first and make sure all your steering components are tight. Then after you are sure every thing is correct. Put one on. I run one but this is what I did. But a dual is overkill. Just my .02
