Good morning all,

Does anyone know if the emergency foot brake off a wrangler will fit a 74 CJ5 tub? Slight mods are not an issue!
Oh I better mention that it's right hand drive as well, will a lefty fit if it's moved over by an inch or so?

Thanks
Andy

an 87-95 parking brake will interchange with 1976-1986 as I have one on mine, have no idea on the lefty righty bit, looks like your 1974 uses a whole different style parking brake, which could require a new cable as well drilling holes in the tub

In case it does not work out, I installed a hand lever from an XJ. It is working wonderfully. It is located between my seat and the console

Thanks for the advice grain, if I don't get fixed up I will bear it in mind! Found a new foot operated one over here in the UK so will see how I get on.

Cheers for the advice guys!
