i know some of you guys have done this already, but i wanted to share and ask a couple questions...

heres wher i am so far... i could only get 1 side done due to rain and Limited room in my garage

heres my questions...

1. the bolts are 1/2" grade 8s... should i weld or would that be over kill?

2. i have 9.5" of compression and 14" of droop... would a Rancho 9006 work for me? the compression on the 9006 has 11.87" of compression and 17.33" of extension...

if my math is right, that should leave me plenty of room without topping/bottoming out...

is this correct?

THANKS!

I would weld them doesn't have to be sold all around but at least a couple inches on but sides.
sounds like the shocks should work.
is there a reason you have them angled back like that?

theyre loose in that pic... but i kept them in the basically the same orientation as the stock shocks...

was that wrong?

this is TOTALLY new to me... sooooo, yeah... i have a LOT of questions
