I just want to wish all you father's out there a very special father's day. I hope your kids show you how much they love you and what you have meant to them in their lives. I have 5 kids 10 grand kids and 1 with 1 on the way great grand kids and think this is what life is all about. So to all you other Dads :chug:

My 18 year old daughter moved into my house today. Her mom is in between houses right now so she's with me. She has shown how much she appreciates it by refusing to move her car a few feet and shutting off a light. Then she got upset with me for moving her car myself. It was partially in front of the neighbors driveway. A daughters love is so precious.....

Thanks Mtnwhir, Happy Father's Day to you as well. Besides being my children their my best friends as well.

Happy Father's Day Dads. My daughters surprised me and showed up at camping last night. :chug:

The Father part was easy but the Dad part took some work. Best job I ever had, a few rough parts but all in all it turned out Pretty well.

Happy Fathers day to all the Dads.

And a happy fathers day to all! Waiting for all the kids to get here. One of the few things that will get me to take a day off from turning wrenches on the Jeep!:D

I've got two step sons that for all intense and purpose are my sons. :) A daughter too. ;) They have all turned out great. And they remember the old man on special days. :D But probably the best time has been this last month or so, my oldest son has been working with me two to three days a week on a special project. Wouldn't trade that time for anything in the world.:banana::banana:

Happy Father's Day to all!

Have 5 'kids'. Oldest(only girl)just turn's 40, and we will be have her oldest daughter's 20 b'day today with Fathers Day.
3 of these 'kids' are multi-tour combat vets.
My daughter has been married to an LEO for the last 20+ years.
Just wish my Dad could have lived to see the family. I'm an 'only' child.
Miss you much Dad!
LG

I really miss my father as well. He passed in 2010. I'm thankful that he taught me how to manage money, taught me that no debt is good debt, but mortgages are a necessary evil to be slaughtered as quickly as possible.

I'm also thankful that tried so many times - with such monumental patience - to teach me how to turn a wrench. He never got frustrated with me, never raised a hand or his voice, even when - as a pre-teen - I dropped a wing nut down the carb throat of his car & he needed to use in about 8 hours. I did manage to fish it out with a push button, cable-type grabber and a pen light.

I like the memory of him beaming with pride as I handed it to him.
