when i bought my cj i was and still am unaware of the lift installed... its reverse shackled, and im fitting 33x12.50s.... anybody have a measurement or system i could use to narrow this down? it soulds like 4 inch, but i just dont see it ya know? the guy told me it had old man emu springs, which makes me think its 2.5 because i am unaware of a system they make thats any bigger than that... anyways thanks for your help

The stock springs, fully compressed at curb position, should be very nearly flat. How far are yours arched?

well i know theyre not stock, because they do arc quite a bit. Do you have stock springs? If so, (anyone), could you measure, what, frame to axletube would give me what im looking for i think?.... If anyone has a better suggestion please, chime in

It's not quite apples to apples, but it's close. My '74 Renegade (AMC 304 ) measures 3-1/2" from top of axle tube to underside of frame in the middle of the arch. That's stock heavy-duty springs. My '86 CJ7 , AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , stock light-duty springs, measures 4-1/2".

Take a look at my profile. I have 2.5" OME YJ springs with shackle reverse on a 73CJ5. Let me know if there is something specific I can tell you.
