I bought a 1981 with six cylinder, power steering, power brakes the other day. Already got new power train ordered from Novak. Started tearing into it yesterday. Got the front clip and fenders off. Never done this before. Gonna need a lot of help, and encouragement I'm sure. Any advice would be great.
Gonna keep the body, have it media blasted and repainted. Any rusty areas repaired. Would like to get new axles too. Has the stock narrow track axles. I have posted a few pics

Yep, sure looks solid from here. But I know looks can be deceiving! Welcome aboard. Fasten your seatbelt, grab your digital camera, and buckle your anti crazy helmet.
I originally bought mine in S.C., Myrtle Beach to be exact. You'd never tell after it's first few winters in Pa.!

Hey bud,
How's the build coming along? I saw that you reside in SC, so I wanted to stay current on this thread. I agree, you look to have a solid base to start with! Good luck!
