Spent thanksgiving weekend at the dunes.Very rainy but that's the coast weather some times.Still got out for some rides in the sand.Renegade did well with the 4.88's posi and 12 lbs air.

Been to the lighthouse and beach a couple of times. Beautiful area. Didn't have my jeep, so no dunes. Made it to the edge of the dunes,but I don't think that counts
 
Yes there is something about just cruising around in your jeep with no place to be. I didn't get any good pics of the dunes because there was so much surface water everywhere on most trails.Been going to Florence about 20 years with a mix of three wheelers,banshee quads,jeeps. Couple mor pics. We stay at the Odd Fellows Lodge RV Park. If you are a member you can check it out .Very nice people and well operated park and reasonable prices.The bonus is access to the dunes from the park.

What a great place to play in. When I was there, the first thing you learn is the fact that many/most of the 'bumps' on the beach ain't sand. They're down'd trees......:D
