Ford t18 gears in Jeep t18

I have a T-18 out of a 79 cj and noticed the teeth on the big slider gear were chiped, I also have a ford T-18 and wondered if the gears would interchange? If not where can I get parts for the jeep Transmission ? Thanks, Grant

novak adapter has a knowledge base check there site, or drop them an email.
If not they also carry parts.

Hello lgbent and welcome to the site!

Internally both T-18 's can interchange parts. You have to be careful though, as you cannot just swap gears and such that have different teeth - most of the time.

As Brock said, Novak has just about every part you would need and they can tell you what to expect by changing gears.

I seem to remember reading something about tooth pitch being different between years, but I could be mistaken. I'd check with novak, since that's their thing.
