Have a 84 CJ7 . Is there a trick with removing the front brake hoses? I removed the end at the caliper, but the other end I can't seem to get it off. I don't want to use any more pressure with the wrench and round the ends of the nut.

You really need a flare nut wrench. The old fittings some times even being sprayed will not give it up!!! Not sure about using heat?

A heat gun can make a lot of difference, I would not recommend a torch.

Use lots of PB Blaster on it and keep working the fitting back and forth. That's what I did on mine. Ended up with vise grips on one side to get it off.

Get one of these!!! It will keep you from rounding the fitting Unless it is really bad.

Does anyone know what size flare nut wrench?
Also what size star bit for the front brake calipers.
