Front Brake Upgrade Kits

A question about front brake upgrade kits:

I have seen kits such as two piston caliper kits for the front labeled as Non-Power kits. What really happens if you have a Non-Power kit and then add on a power brake booster kit?

Is there really a reason for labeling the brake kit as a Non-Power kit? Do they think there would be too much braking applied with a power booster?

Anyone here done this?

Disc brakes require much more psi than shoe type does.
Not a clue about the 'non-power' label.
