I took a course offered at the FBI training facility in NC about 15 years ago that opened my eyes!

Just got back 10 hour drive and only having to put snow chains on twice.
A very informative school and they just scratched the surface of what I know. a lot more info and practical than I thought we would cover. Friday was 11 hours and yesterday was 10h. 75% was range time and the rest was classroom/presentation. A wide variety of people from doctors to military to a silly truck mechanic, husbands and wives, young and old. I hope to be able to go back in a while but if you check it is not cheap, but very well worth every dollar. All of the instructors have tons of experience and most still work in varied industries.

Most of all I feel that I learned many valuable skills and info to help me protect my family, friends and neighbors.

Do they cover the legal and mental aftermath of shooting someone? How bout identify a good(legal) self defense shoot. Or, offer an AK47 with a membership. How bout the chance to live in a custom private community just outside the training area.:drool:

I hear thas a good course. glad you enjoyed it! Aside from my standard issue training, I was fortunate to able to attend a 3 day course taught my Mas Ayoob some years ago. I wish more people would take advantage of these courses, and good for you for doing it!

Yea, I fully agree with every sane/law abiding citizen should own guns and be well trained in safety and use of fire arms.

You would not go to a surgeon who felt he had enough training in med school back in 1968. Right?
