fuel sending unit wire?

I started reassembling my CJ7 yesterday and noticed that the rear wiring harness had been cut by the previous owner of the tub. The tailight and marker wires were still ok. But i have a couple wires that are just cut off. I know one goes to the fuel sender. Do any of you out there know what color that wire would be? it's a 78 CJ7

On my CJ7 1979 the fuel wire is white

On both my 77 and 79 the fuel gauge to the sender is pink where it connects to the sender is white.

Tail lights = white
Left turn, Haz = Light green w/tr
Right turn Haz = light green
Back up lights = white w/tr

Ditto on the pink wire,goes all the way to the gauge, i just got done placing a new sending unit in my 79
