Hello all... im new to the forum .. not new to jeeps .. I do have a question I hope someone has the answer.. I have a 77 jeep CJ5 .. nothing much left on it factory .. I have full size axles under it. Im running 35x12.50 on 15x10 rims.. with the fullsize axles of course my tires and wheels stick out way past the fenders. Fender flares would have to be. 12 inches wide to cover the tires. So im thinking of getting wheels with enough offset to cover the brake calipers. However my tie rod ends are out even further. Does anyone know what size wheel it will take to clear the tie rod ends? Im sure others have done this.. just don't want to buy a set of 17 . 18 or even 20 in. Wheels and they not work. Any help would be appreciated .. ..
Thanks,
Dan

Hummer wheels are the ticket that i have seen, any pics of your jeep?

not to hijack the thread but i was curious how they adressed the steering on your jeep, is it high steer or crossover?
