GM Saginaw pump fittings are the same

Hey guys I have not seen this posted anywhere and just ran across this because I'm trying to be cheap...... the early style compression fitting on the back of the pump is the same as the 80s o ring fitting, pictured are the 2 styles and my 79 pump with an o ring fitting from a spare 80s Dodge pump I had laying around and my 83 CJ hose fits right in so you don't need to buy a new pump during an engine swap just change the fitting out
