got a tire question for all you knowledgeable peeps

ok so I bought a set (5) of refinished rims. the question is what tires go on a 15x8.5 rim w a 5" bolt pattern? and would I use a spacer to get more clearance from my rear springs?

Lets start with this. If its a 5in bolt pattern put up an ad and sell them to a Grand Cherokee owner or someone else that can use them. Cjs are 5.5in. If they are the right bolt pattern there are a boatload of tires you can put on that rim. I think your looking for what the widest tire is youd use on that wheel and that would be 12.5 in. in my opinion.

Anything from a 10.5 to a 12.5 tire would work.

A CJ axle has a 5x5.5 bolt pattern. (5 bolts in a 5.5 inch circle). To use 5x5 bolt pattern wheels you will need an adapter like this:
1.375 WHEEL SPACER ADAPTOR PAIR JK 5 on 5 to 5 on 5.5 INCH 07-09 WRANGLER"
