I had some on my JK that I put on the roll cages and thought it might be good to have some on my CJ. So I made one of these and then went looking for a place to put it.

Since I just have the simple roll bar and a CJ5 it seems like you should just be able to grab the bar. I'm having a hard time finding a good spot to put them. Where do you guys have them?

I think it would be safer without the metal.
Can you post a picture of your use of those?

I haven't used these in particular before. The ones I had in my jk were rugged ridge. I've seen these tied to a roll bar using more paracord and that was my plan. I'm just having a hard time funding a spot where a handle would be better than just grabbing the bar.

Without a cage providing bars from the roll bar to the windshield, I have had the same thought as you. Where would I put them?

You can put them on the portion of the sport bar that goes side to side above your head. These are helpful only to people getting into the back seat. But unless you have a full cage or even those tubes going to the w.s. like a wrangler, they are useless for a Jeep.

I have a grab handle in the middle of my main hoop so the kiddos can get in and out of the back seat. I also have one on the upright next to the pass seat so the wifey can get in easier.
