Part 2: Sorting Suspension and SteeringWe introduced you to our patina’d ’56 CJ5 build in the Aug. ’11 issue (“Ground Up, Part 1: Building a Frame from Scratch”). This time we’re squaring the frame build away, including hanging our springs and steering box, and even burning in some motor mounts. We also added body mounts all around, welded on a few suspension components, and laid the body in place. Hopefully that whetted your appetite for some vintage CJ5 building.
