Water leak in the cinder block wall behind the sink leaking into kitchen. Under cabinet photos and the red square is where the hole will be cut on the outside of the house.

The good:
New cabinets and flooring :chug:

Bad pipes ? Bad drainage ? Neighbor flooding you out ? 30 inches of rain overnight ? Or someone thought the kitchen sink was a hot tub ? I think all that is solid wood on mine from the 50s.

Just 1963 plumbing. I'll know on Monday once they get into the wall. Probably a weak union. I'm hoping the house will not need a repipe.

Mine came with galvanized pipe from mid 50s. When I moved in back in late 80s I found out fast that those were rotten from the inside out from rust. 2 plumbing crews and 2 days later I had all new copper. Think it was $2200 back then. I was hooking up a new dishwasher and the pipe just twisted.
