84 cj7 - 258ci - amc 20 with 4.11 and detroit locker- dana with 4.11
I just purchased a half cap and threshold from a CJ8 to install on my 84 CJ7 . I was looking to find a deck cover for the rear and I contacted bestop and they told me they do not make a cover for the application. Has anyone found or used a cover with a half cap ?

I swear I've seen someone who makes them still.. try looking under Wrangler when doing your search, should find something that way. Called a 'dust cover', maybe??
 
I have a duster cover for CJ7 from Bestop they have 2 styles one that fits over the top of the bestop super top frame when folded flat the other is for no soft top frame both require the soft top tub rails system

you prob confused them by saying the CJ8 half top you may need some minor mods around the hard top to fit right but a sail maker or canvas place can help with that
 
are any of those designed to fit behind the cap? or will he need to modify it?
 
Do you have any pictures of your half cab?
