A refreshing 16 degrees this morning, still 3' of snow on the ground and 6' banks. Looks like it will be in the mid 40s by late next week. Whoo-hooo!

Supposed to get 6 inches of snow here today. Won't last long though with temperatures on the 50s ahead.

Snow will be here tonight as well.

80's and maybe 90's out west :chug:

Shut your hole, hole :D Even here in MD it's freaking snowing again today... I'm tired of this :dung: :bang:

Happy Spring. It's been a long winter here in Bangor Maine. Started with the Snowiest November on recorded, moved through to the coldest February on record with an avg temp of 6 degrees, moving towards the coldest March on record and the coldest overall winter on record, the 2nd overall snowiest with a total of 91".....yes I'm ready for spring. Even a whole week of 30 degree weather would feel like a heat wave at this point. Did I mention we have 2-3' of ice on the lakes and frost depths are down around 6' right now. Well, when my jeeping brethren of the south west are hiding from 115 degree heat this summer, we'll be at a comfy 85 enjoying the crystal clear lakes of Maine so I guess it balances out (at least I keep telling myself that)!

Dude - I actually so someone snowblowing the roof of there house this year - no kidding.

We broke our record down this way with 109" of snow.

Yes, Southshore

Yeah, you guys got slammed from what I hear. Most of that came over about a month right?

Yes, didn't snow at all until the last week in January (26th) and what seemed like all of February. The going joke was we traded winters with Anchorage Alaska where it didn't snow much.

This was after the first storm, only got worse after that.

I was crushing snow banks, if you look close you can see the 4' tall blade

I don't mind the snow, but I'm eager to experience a little more cold weather, dry road motoring with my new cab before it's time to take it off for the warm weather.

Really, 16 degrees this morning?
Plan to go wheeling this weekend and my trailer is under 5' of ice and snow.

9 below with the windchill here - awesome. It's been howling like a banshee all weekend hear. Hey Posi, you must be familiar with the Florida Road?

All the way down here in Pennsylvania it's 17° this morning.
At least the sun is shining.
:)

Winter in SW MT started normal enough, quite a bit of snow in November and December. It apparently got lost someplace in January and has been spring ever since. I actually may have to mow the lawn this month-probably a good 6 weeks earlier than ever before and doesn't bode well for the summer. Going to be inhaling a lot of smoke come July and August and just hoping the origin isn't from our place-----

First day of spring was clear and high 50's. No snow below about 7000' where we would usually have about 2' at the house (5300').
