I am a fairly new member, this is my first thread....I have been enjoying catching up and learning from everyone one here,,,thanks!!
I built my CJ7 almost 20yrs ago, it has been in and out of storage and have never finished it (went to college, got married, etc) I have been staring at a set of half doors & I also have a really nice hard top & doors in storage. I have a 4wd fiberglass tub that is smooth on the inside like on the outside (no contoured piece like a steel body for the striker pin to mount to). I ordered the latest kit from 4wd Hardware to mount the striker...it comes with no directions and I am nervous about hacking up my tub. Has anyone done this, and does anyone have any pictures they could post up....Thanks in advance, Robert

come on,,,no body has done this??

I had hard doors on my 'glass tub when I first got it. But it had the strikers already installed. This is how it looks, I can get some other photos if it may help.

Thanks, how are they holding up to the weight of the doors, and the force of them closing?

Had the hard top on for about 5 years and never had a problem. Only use the rig for trails anymore so sold the hard top.

I knew the people we bought it from and they had no problems with it either. You should be good.
