Shed and no tarp. Rats and mice love tarps to crawl under and then eat your seat and wiring so you have a nice surprise next summer. Oh waite, you are a southern bumpkin so you don't have to put your tractor in hibernation like me.

I just want to store it next to the patio furniture - instead of taking up space in my garage

CJ, we may be considered a bunch of left wing radicals out here, but we usually byild a shed for our lawn equipment. I think that may be a choice you need to make.
It is like when some one makes fun of your beer belly, you tell them it is not a beer belly but a shed. After all, we always keep our best tools under a shed.
