help with end links

[1984 CJ7]

Put on poly buishings and it seems that the bottom link end will not go onto the leaf spring plate. What gives? It seems the bushing is too small. The top pone will slide on but is tight.

Try just putting the bottom bushing on so you know it's going straight, if it's still to small than I guess it's the wrong size.
