1959 CJ5 Rebuild 74 Buick 231V6 oddfire T14 D20 D30 D44 frame boxed roller engine ready,
1967 CJ5 V6 225 T86aa D18 D27 D44 runs needs work,
1954 CJ3B F4-134 T90A D18 D25 D44 Half Cab needs tub,
I have the main job of designing the wiring for our CJ5 build and I need some help.
We are using a tilt steering column from a 97 Grand Cherokee for our '59 CJ5 build. We have removed the airbag activation module. We would like to be able to use the key switch, turn signals, dimmer switch, hazard switch and horn. The wiper controls probably wouldn't work with our vintage wipers - there is no delay or washer on our CJ. No cruise control either...
I have found some diagrams on the Autozone site, but they only show wire color that you would have in the harness and not which pins they connect to. I have had no luck trying to find out the pin-out identifications for the two main plugs in this column. There is a 7 pin plug which is connected to the ignition switch and with an ohm meter I have been able to identify some of the connections by changing the position of the key switch and then testing what is connected. There is also a larger 23 pin plug which seems to have the connections for the turn signals, hazard switch and lights that I have found so far...But my method of discovery is tedious so I was wondering if anyone had access to the pin-outs for this column. These plugs are made up of various widths (probably based on current/load) of spade terminals and the wiring harness has the correct mates. I was just going to use individual spade terminals since I don't have a harness for a 97 Grand Cherokee.
Here are some pictures:

If anyone could help or tell me where I can find this info I would sure appreciate it. Thanks!
