cheapest way is to find some flat top knuckles off a early chevy or fsj
and than use your 30 stuff from the ball joints out.
You will need to get the pass. side knuckle milled and drilled and than buy high steer arms to mount on top.
Or spend the bucks and buy a kit something like this 1-ASP1001KK KNUCKLE/ARM KIT
I actually have a gm Dana 44 laying around. Ive thought about narrowing it and putting it in place of the 30. Would this be a good axle to use? I know the waggys are ideal but seem harder to get. Anyone done this or have some right ups on how to do it?

The chevy is great for SOA as the spring pad is cast on top of the axle
for SOA. and depending on year you might have flat top knuckles on it.
The only bad part is you have to shorten both sides to get to cj width.
They are also a 6X5 1/2 BP, but you can use ford parts to get back
to the 5X5 1/2 BP.
