I have a Sniper with Hyperspark distributor, coil and CD box and I love it (on a 351w though). Make sure you watch all the Holley install videos and download the FULL instruction manual...not just the quickstart manual that comes with the kit. Follow the directions to a T and you'll be fine.
One thing about the Hypserspark...contrary to what 73CJ said, the system doesn't figure out the best timing. The Sniper is only as smart as you tell it to be. You have to input your initial timing settings through the handheld, but if you want to make any major adjustments from the base table that gets set up through the wizard, you need a Windows laptop to connect to the ECU and make adjustments from there. The timing table that the wizard sets up will get the motor to run fine, but it will certainly not unleash its full potential. To do that, you'll need to go in and edit each cell yourself and check it yourself, or have a tuner to help you out.
Final note...the smallest exhaust leak before your O2 sensor will wreak havoc on the system. Test your exhaust for leaks and button them up before running it.
