So today after surfin the net for a bit I came across Rocky Road outfitters and found a high steer kit for my jeep, they say it will remove bump steer, on a spring over susp, and since the prevouis ower did the spring over and didnt address any of the steering issues, I think I may try this and see what happens, I kind of like the spring over thing, has anyone else tried this product or a simaler one? just wondering how it works, and also I found people saying to use chev truck brake lines up front to get alittle more lenght, so I ask is this true, or should I just go to the local off road shop and buy some, I usally dont mind spending the money but the shop in our citey sucks and can be rather greety, thanx Craig

I run a spring over setup with high steer on my rig. IMHO it's great. You can take your hands off the wheel at freeway speeds & I'm running 38" tires & over a foot of lift.

I have been eyeing that Rocky Road SOA KIT every since someone mentioned it on here. Looks like they make a great kit! I plan on buying the SOA kit, then purchasing the OTT High Steering kit from them, shortly after I get the SOA completed. I believe the SOA kit comes with the necessary brake lines. You might see what just they're brake lines seperately run for. I've also heard that chevy lines will fit.

I've used stuff from Rocky Road Outfitters before. I can not tell you about the high steer kit, but I am using the HD track bar on my XJ. I would recommend those guys to anyone.

Awsome, thanx for all the info, I am going to order the highsteer kit tomorrow and I will have them throw a set of brake lines in as well, thanx again for all the info guys. :notworthy:

Let us know how it goes, and take lot's of pics! I, along w/other's may be doing this RR OTT High Steering Kit in the future. Advice on your install would greatly help!
