Anybody know how many inches of lift I will gain when doing a SOA if I swap out my cj springs for yj springs?

4 1/2 is what I figured that my 74 CJ5 got with yj springs

Add the axle tube diameter ( 3") and the thickness of the springs you are using.

You could do that but the YJ springs are flatter the cj springs have alot of curve to them.

Humm I guess nobody told OME that.

? My cj springs had alot of curve to them. The yj springs were alot flatter Thad what I saw when installing them. I could be wrong I'm just saying what I saw first hand with mine.

Yes I do know cj springs have more arch in them than yj springs. Yj springs are indeed flater. I think 73cj has the right idea. Axle tube diameter+spring thickness+perch height. Let me get out my tape measure...
