Thought we could play a fun game. How many different vehicles do you have in your CJ or other Jeep Model?

I'll start.... 10 not counting the CJ itself or other Late CJ donated parts.... I kinda thought I'd have more in there !

My base is a 1986 CJ7 Laredo :

1982-84 CJ7 Limited (the fancy hard top)
  1. 1987-95 YJ- (roll bar, clutch assembly, windshield frame assembly, and MPFI Wiring Harness)
  2. 1996-98 TJ- ( Nv3550 Transmission , and air intake)
  3. 1996 ZJ- (Serpentine System)
  4. 1991-2001 XJ- (ECM, intake, luggage rack)
  5. 1988 Grand Wagoneer- (Cruise Control)
  6. 1990ish Astro Van- (Hydraulic brake booster)
  7. 2004 Vibe- (115v Power converter)
  8. 2001 Suburban- (Compass/Temp Mirror)
  9. 1990s Ford Contour- Cooling fan
  10. 1980s K5 Blazer- Heater motor

Well not as many as you. My CJ. YJ half doors. TJ uppers for those doors. Some Chevy heater fan motor. I am trying to think. A lot of different CJs gave their parts for my engine though.

And the YJ wiper linkage and arms.

I forgot the Blazer blower motor! haha thanks for reminding me!

I once made a CJ from 8 other CJs/ YJs spanning over many years......does that count??

It was an 83 frame, tub was front half YJ and back half CJ, axles were 81 narrow tracks, engine was 82, Transmission was from a 77, etc, etc. 95 YJ windshield frame....Here's a pic of the final result.

Mine's pretty low as well.

1. 78 CJ5 original vehicle

2. Unknown Jeep model or year back seat and brackets. Guessing YJ but could be CJ as well.

3. Unknown Front seats. Guessing not Jeep.

4. 2 Mismatched tail lights, definitely not 78 Jeep. Perhaps Pre-76 Jeep.

5. Oil dipstick from 81 Scrambler

But soon to add to it:

6. 80s CJ7 Intake and Exhaust manifolds

7. 79? J-10 T-18a Transmission and Dana 20 TC.

8. Holley 2bbl Carb from unknown donor

I like it but Im staring through it now to look at the Scrambler more. :D

83 cj frame and dash
Front axle from 78 chief.
Spindles and rotors from a ford F150 with chevy brakes
Rear axle from a 2000 ford explorer.
Chevy 350 crate motor
Transmission is a TH350 from some chevy.
And the chevy heater blower motor.
Most of the rest is after market but made for a cj. kinda. :D

Yep, one of several CJs that I have, but its my DD right now while I'll let life get in the way of my other "projects".

Sometimes I play in it a little. I just installed a front Lokka.

Thats the good angleisnt it? I thought your 8 had fender damage? Or was that the orange one?

I was talking about the Orange one but that ones sweet! It's a shame when you have too many Cjs and you get confused.:chug:

Oh, sorry, the tan one above is the orange one. Both the orange and tan are rattle can paint jobs. Since I wheel it and its a work truck, I gave them quick paint till I fix the rear quarter that's been busted since before I bought it.

Same Jeep, it has a XP9500 on the front now. Half hard top, maybe different tires.

Are those original fog lights or after market ones. I can't find any aftermarket ones that look like those.

Show us the smashed side! :) is character

I used to have a few adapted parts in my 3B, but other than an aluminum GM bellhousing and the sbc short block, just about all of it is now either fabricated or aftermarket parts. The only original Willys parts are the rear axle housing, frame, and grill, both of the latter have been severely modified. The only "borrowed" pieces I can think of that still remain are a Toyota wiper motor and a Honda blower motor on the auxiliary heater under the driver's seat.
