Ive seen it before but cannot seem to find a write up on how to calculate the amount of lift a jeep has. Help please

this only takes into account the spring arch. It assumes the shackles are oem length of 3 inches. And of course it won't take into account any body lift.

Too many variables and referenced from what? Even changing tires will effect lift. There are many different ways to get some lift.

Ao if i have a stock no suspension lifted jeep, the red line will touch the top of my axle?

Yes.
The frame curves up to allow movement of the axle.

Ok. I will have to check that. As I was told by the PO that my Scramble is stock height. It looks it and came on 28" tires. I am currently on 33s to fill up the wells. I don't think 33s would fit without rubbing. All of that points to a stock suspension. It will be good to check before I go and get a 2.5 inch lift spring set. If it is already a couple inches, I will need 4 inches to get the stance I want. Thanks.
