How much por 15?

Ok im thinking of painting my frame with por 15, knowing that the cost of this does not work well with my budget i am wondering just how much i need and if i really need to have a whole gallon/more/less. And i am also wondering if i can do it to my axle's or and if anyone has ever done it to there axles?

I bought a gallon, painted my frame, axles and all brackets. I used about 1/3 of that gallon. The rest got wasted and eventually I was forced to throw it out. I bought one pint of orange for my engine block and it was perfect.

I bought 2 qts, did entire frame, axles, and springs and brushed it on pretty thick. Had less than a pint left. If doing just the frame, I think you could get by w/qt. Be sure to wear gloves, hard to get off, & will not come out of clothing.
