Is hydraulic steering considered street legal??
specifically the ones that use a hydraulic cylinder where a drag link would be normaly found.:cool:
 
not sure but my guess would be no, at least here in the mid-east out there in the republic it might be.:D
 
Each state varies. I don't think here in Ohio it is, but some states are a lot more relaxed about it.
 
Unless you had the hi-zoot self-return-to center style hydraulics, I'd say no, as it wouldnt be safe to drive at high(er) road speeds.
I have seen some guys do it anyways, tho.
What are you planning that you would need more than a good PS gearbox and pump for, anyways?
