Parachutes make nice domiciles. That's me on the right and the far left, the ole man who started it all. He bought the first Jeep and got us hooked. Retired Air Force survival instructor.
Yea- there were Jeep nuts back then too.
:chug:

Great pics. Got any new ones?:chug:

That is a great collection of pictures. Jeeps have been fun since day one!

Yeah, those are great pics, I love the one of all the rigs... I have a few like that of all aspects of life... me and friends with bikes, dirt bikes, quads, Jeeps... those are great memories.

Cool jeep!
Thanks for sharing. The picture looks old but the jeep still awesome to look at. It's good to know that you treasured those pictures.

Great old school pics... I've got a few myself that I am working on scanning into an album that documents my CJ from early '71 to present... Gotta love CJ's in their natural habitat(s); on the trail or in the garage for upgrades!!:chug:

How long have you owned that CJ?

Really cool pics. I love memories like that. Did you ever see the movie Dazed and Confused? You look just lie the guy who paddles all the freshman and gets the shotgun pulled on him by the one kids mom!:) If you haven't watched the movie, it is all about the end of a school year back in the seventies.

My dad transferred the title to me in '83; but he drove it off the new vehicle lot (Kolars JEEP in Seattle; now gone) in Dec '70...:chug:

Very kewl, another 2nd owner Jeep. I bought mine from the original purchaser in 1978. The owner at that time was a friend at schools parents!

Here's a couple more; me learning to drive in my mom and dad's back yard and one of my sis and I around the Lake Chelan, WA area in July of '83... Same JEEP as today; just different decades.;)

I love looking back at old pictures like that. My father bought and babies his jeep, then passed it down to me. It always amazes me how far it has come!

Finally found the one I was looking for... My son and CJ at Hungry Valley, Ca. Same CJ; different eras...
