I'd do it again in a heartbeat! After being a shade tree mechanic in my mis-spent youth, I had forgotten how satisfying it can be to troubleshoot a symptom, find the problem, and get it fixed. And it's dang good exercise for the old brain. No dang computer gadget to tell me what's wrong, just figure it out yourself. If I ever get all the bugs worked out on this one, I may just have to try another one. Got my first CJ at the tender age of 68, and wonder why it took so damn long.

I must admit a tj would be a better trail jeep for what we do around here,
but I have owned other cj's and knew what I was getting into, and still did it again. I just love cj's.
Besides it's fun to take it places the newbies can't go with there new
"bought" jeeps.
