In tank fuel pump

86 CJ7 with 4.0L from 96 XJ. Has anybody put an electric pump in their tank? Did you have to get a different tank or use the CJ tank? My external mounted pump gets to hot and doesnt work right. I have put it in different locations. I now want to put one in the tank and want to know how others have done this. I didn't find any other posts. I am looking at a fuel pump from tanksinc.com

I'm concidering the same but have not investigated it at all. What I did do was wrap the exhaust tail pipe with header heat wrap as well as a metal heat sheild on the filter(it is the closest to the exhaust) and have no issues with this.
