Hi there,
New to this group. I had 2 Jeeps before (CJ5 , YJ) but straight.
My CJ7 is raised quite a bit.
How do I figure body lift vs suspension lift? I'd like to update my profile but don't know what to write.
I'd like to lower it a bit (3 young kids). I thought about changing tires from 33 to 31 but not sure what it will do if I don't lower the suspension as well.
Any ideas, info?
Thanks!

Jean

If you could send in some pics that would help. Usually with a 33" tire a 4" suspension lift is required and a 1" body lift can help but not required. So, if you have those body lift pucks installed you could remove those. If you have extended length spring shackles, you could replace those for oem type to loose a bit of altitude also. There are various types of externally mounted entry steps available, maybe they could help?

Welcome aboard from Texas :chug: we defiantly need to see some pics :chug:
