Interior Mats for CJ7

I am getting a 1982 CJ7 . The interior has no carpet or mats. I like the look/feel of just steel on the floor but want to protect the paint inside (from Heels when driving, passengers ect..) as well as have a place to collect mud/dirt ect. Does anyone know if there are front and back rubber mats that are molded for exact fit in the CJ7

you could try quadratec, or 4wd.com, or do an ebay search. personally i would rhino line it then you don't have to worry about paint or mats, when it gets dirty you just pull the drain plugs and take a water hose to it

I feel the same way! I ordered floor mats from stock interior and I am happy with the outcome, not gona be weatherproof or stainfree but will protect the paint.

I sold a 1986 CJ7 in 2002. It didn't have carpet, just the steel floor. I thought that was cool. I got a pair of rubber floor mats. I didn't want my floor to be scuffed up. Well, in the time I didn't have floor mats, I got a few scratches in the paint. It was OK before I put in the floor mats because any water just dried up. When I put the rubber floor mats in, the held the water under and didn't let it dry. After a few months, I just happened to pull up the mats, MY FLOOR WAS RUSTING! I threw those rubber mats away and went without. It was surface rust but, I sanded the rust and spray canned the floor. I may not have had mats anymore, but at least I had solid floors.
