83 CJ7 4 cyl / 5 spd. / 31x10.5x15 Mud Dawgs / YJ rollbar / 12500lb winch / stock axles 4 now
my 83 Renegade as bought in Dec. '09.
I replaced the worn out A/T's with the 31/10.5/15 Mud Dawgs.
original 4cyl/5spd with 60k+ miles. not much power but crawls well.
Fixed a few oil leaks and tuned up, adjusted carb, and go anywhere!

I also replaced the CJ seats that where broken with these from a junk yard. A little modifying to fit.

looks good Red
I like the look of stock CJs
Hey about the engine, Jeep 4 poppers are never known for their highway prowess. But the have always preformed great offroad as they have the torque down low.
Remember that Jeep made it's reputation with a 60 HP 4 popper in WWII. I have run several 4 poppers and loved them.

My little 4 popper does 60mph fine on the motorway. i have had her up to 70 and pulled back as it gets kinda scary :)

yeah the 4cyl does not ave any gitty up but thats not what I bought it for, right.
it crawls in low and the only prob I have run into to is bottoming out.
without lockers it puts me at a standstill. but I will fix that later.

I did get lucky with the hard top/doors although I don't think they are factory.
do you want to sell the warn?

Your in Georgia darn it. What the :censored: do you need a hardtp and doors for? :D
well i'm jealous you got a hard top and hard doors, i'll trade you a warn 8274 for em.:D

tired of gettin wet constantly, i want roll up windows, i want it to be warm this winter, and my soft top is a rag. i want a hard top worse than the winch, plus i figure as little as i will use the winch its not worth toting around the extra 150lbs. i'm going to buy me a smaller 8k winch later. and no i can't sell it my little brother gave it to me so i'm not going to make any money off it just trade it.

well i am about to pant the top(alreadt painted the doors w/diamond plate inside covers). Also have to do some fiberglass work on it to fix a couple of cracks.

my plan is to be completely flat black by winter. this jeep is for hunting in the winter and playing the rest of the time.
I will update the photo's as it progress'.

they say if dont like the weather in georgia...wait 10 mins....today in atlanta 80 at 7 A.M. and 90 at 9 A.M.

never heard that bout ga i've heard it plenty about fla though. they don't call it hotlanta for no reason right. if this winter is like the last one, come hell or high water i'll have a hard top and doors cold and alot of snow (for ga anyhow). you guys that live up north and deal with that :dung: every year with soft tops and old jeeps are hardcore.

Honestly we're just used to a differnt type of "cold". Remember I lived in the desert for a few years and when I came back here Wow!!! My blood mustve thinned lol. After being back a few years now though I go out and grab the paper at 5 am in February clad only in some undies. To get that pic out of your head please refer to this thread :D

Rain? oh about 10 12 days in winter

but then July, August, And September it heat is crushing

can't wait till retirement and back to the pan handle of Florida to become trailer trash, a double wide with a huge porch, sitting outside drinking rum drinks in the humidity with a wife beater on playing cards with the neighbor, Shot gun by the side looking down the pasture to make sure no predatory deer are eating the alfalfa or salt lick I have out for those cows I mean to buy next year.

call Off Road Atlanta....ask for Walter....404-768-9507....he is super informative and super nice he has found me OEM tire rack, did the nutter bypass plus, and educated me on future projects on the cheap....he found the tire rack from take off ( for upgrade )....through his contacts for less than 100...plus he did P/S hose ,nutter bypass plus, brake adjustment and adjusted brakes and all over inspection for 300 ( i originally offerd 500)..

if he can find one down here let me know i can help with the shipping

baja.....panhandle uh maybe......go near CJ i think he near Bainbridge....freshwater fishing and only 1 hour (roughly) from salt water...plus the pasture scene you metioned

Bainbridge, bout 2 hours from my land in Holt Fla
now remember, the police station is a leanto structure built on the side of the general store/grocery store/bait shop. Out front they have a the old police car for sale. The chief of police/entire force/ road maintenance guy/1 of 3 or 4 city employees has ran unopposed for election the last few times. And the biggest thrill in town is to go down to the Black Water river and lay around in the water.
I am a native of Fort Walton Beach, We found this piece of land a few years back while visiting my father and love it. My plans are to become an organic farmer. If that does not get in the way of just chillin.

OMG!!! you need a neighbor?.....i was involved in that section 8 thing in atlanta....ready to move to the cuuntry........google..."thousands line up for section 8"......hell
