1976 CJ7 Jeep with a engine/tranny/wiring harness out of a 1988 s10 blazer 4.3l v6 with th700r4 automatic tranny and a cj7 Dana 300 transfer case with Novak adapter.
Complete wiring harness from the s10 blazer. Painted with HOT PINK Pearl paint with standard sized metallic halographic pink flakes. Painted by me -a newb. New rear, front and side three wire LED lights, New parts, new custom dash-by me And a lot of guidance from fellow jeepers and lots of prayers etc.... :p
WOW! Today I started the CJ7 jeep for the first time since (June 2015) trying to swap the s10 4.3 v6 and th700r4! It started right up! Although it idles somewhat high. I checked the codes and got 33. I figure the ding dong shop didn't adjust the timing correctly. I will check timing this week. Thank God! Thanks to ALL who "cheered" me on! :)

After I get the Idle correct then its time to get the exhaust done. ;)

Congrats on getting yours running!
Mine is very close to being done, needs gas, batteries, tires & top but it got too hot here to work outside. So I get to wait, & wait, & wait.
It's killing me after all that work & not being able to at least start it up for the first time. 100% restoration & better than it left the factory.
