Alright, i haven't been on in awhile and decided to update everyone with my recent activity. The biggest thing to notice is that it is all pretty and such. I will be putting it all back together starting tomorrow. The paint is actually from a 2009 JK called sunburst orage crystal pearl. It practically glows! In order to get here I have also set up a new dash, personalized to my liking of course, gotten my seatbelt mounts right finally, which actually beefed up my cage a lot, and way too much other things to think about. I should be putting in my flooring first thing tomorrow to finish out the interior before my seats and all go in. I know i hate listening to people just talk on and on and just go straight for the pictures, so here we are. starting with what i had a short few weeks ago and then the process it has come.

But what is up with the helmet on the head? LOL

I figured it was the safest thing to do, plus i felt like pretending it was a military jeep... I drove it around like that for a couple minutes:D

Orange is my favorite. I am digging it.

Lookin' really good. Keep the pics coming.

Great looking Jeep!! Did you paint it yourself or have it done??? I'm looking at a paint job this spring and was wanting to know around what to expect as far as cost.

Price all depends on what you are looking for quality wise. If you want a clear coat, it will cost much more than your average single stage paint. You could look at spending anywhere from $500-$5000. I did all the prep work on mine and just brought it into a shop to get it painted as i didnt want to do it in my tiny garage.

Very nice! Is that one of those 'new car smell' fresheners hanging from the mirror!

Very nice thumbsup.webp . That's one sweet looking CJ, you can definately be proud of the work you've done.

Haha, that's my parking pass. Plus, I would rather get the christmas tree smell.:D

I have that in my truck its overwhelming ;) and colorado springs huh your only about 10 hours from me, when i get my 7 going we need to meet in the middle and go wheel, somewhere in Wyoming is in the middle,we can go wheel there :D Oh ya great looking 7!! i hope mine can look that good!

I rather enjoy mine not smelling like anything. I am gonna be moving about an hour from the wyoming border for college next year. So it might be possible to meet up somewhere for a wheelin trip.

.

Any new updates on this one to report?
