'83 CJ7, six cylinder, stock suspension, stock 5 spd trans and differentials, 32 x 10.50,
I'm new to CJ's, I have an '83, tub is fully restored, added new springs to replace the original, put new Rancho 5000 shocks on, had new tie rod ends installed. Original axles, Transmission and Transfer Case . The jeep came with 32x10.50's on it. I use it for mainly trail riding, two tracks, back country roads. When I'm going over rough gravel, bumps etc. it feels like something is loose in the front end, with vibrations in the steering wheel, it chatters. I'm not sure what's causing it, the rubber stops on the front are hitting the axle based on how this area is clean vs. the rest of the axle. I'm wondering if the body mounts could be the source? or I'm wondering if I need to install a lift kit, but then I just looked at this and I see you need new springs of which I just installed to match the stock springs because I thought this might be the source and the original springs were in bad shape.
Any thoughts, I appreciate the help, it gets pretty annoying to drive.

Check your ball joints, your u-bolt nuts, your shackle mounts, and your steering rod/shaft bearings, top and bottom; for any play. What size lift are the springs and did you replace the bushings with them?
Next I'd jack it up, put stands under the axles, then have someone turn the steering left to right, back and forth, while you look and listen for oddities in the front end.

the springs were sized to replace the stock springs no lift. While doing some more research I see the bolts for the springs to body mount with bushings are supposed to be torqued to 40-45 lbs, I may have these over torqued. The bushings are new, they came with the springs. I'll have to check the other items you mentioned, thank you!
