More wheeling, less hair salons.

Has anyone else noticed that the new Jeep commercials are pretty lame? For a while there Jeep was doing a great job showcasing the Wrangler off road, but now it's just hair salons and city driving. What the heck happened? Who's idea was this? It's bad enough that the Wrangler has always been on the fence as a chick car, now they are actively promoting that way!

Maybe Fiat will give them back their edge.....

young women are one of the biggest demiographics in new Jeep sales, they are doing a great job selling jeeps.
when jeep first started out selling to the public , they advertised the jeep as a agricultural product and sales sucked, they did not start really advertising to the wheeling d=crowd strongly till the 70s and sales went way up,Product placement in movies in the 00s and country western videos and songs has helped that sales trend tremendously, but it was not until they released the 4 door wrangler and the Jeep can now be a family item that sales went through the roof, there are probably as many 4 doors out there as 2 doors now. Jeeps as we like them as wheelers are a luxury item as a SWB Jeep has little value to a soccer mom. getting the young woman excited about jeep ownership now, is a idea that puts the product in purchasing market for years, now that she is young, and later when she is a mother with kids..
