Went to Jellico over the weekend (wheeled Fri. & Sat). The weather was great with the daytime highs in the 70's and mostly sunny. Best weather we have had after a long hard winter.
We had 8 rigs show up. Amazingly they were no break downs.
A Suzuki did roll once and landed back on his wheels, only to flop it latter on a different trail. I broke a winch line. But that was it.

I posted my pic's on my photo bucket here...

Hopefully I'll be getting some of the other peoples pic's soon which might have a few of me in action instead of just my jeep with no one in it, or pic's I took from in it.:D

Wow you wheel with some pretty serious rigs :notworthy: thanks for sharing.

Thanks for those pics Old Dog, looks like some great wheeling and a great group to go with.

Looks expensive. It's nice to see everybody having fun in the outdoors with their Jeep like buggies. :)

the answer to the question was Yes!

Looks like a great time. Great pictures :chug:

:) Darn it, I thought the question was too agressive so I pulled it. The Question was, I can't remember the exact words, "is the point to get somewhere or is it to find the biggest rock you can find to drive over." After looking at the question again, I still think it was too agressive for a bunch of people out enjoying themselves.

It's a rock, get over it!

:banana:I like it!

My answer is...when you follow the trail and there's a rock, you just have to have some fun and drive over it. (there's no by-passes on these trails)
It's just our way of having fun.:)
It's also fun to follow these guys with there 4 links and such in a leaf sprung cj, and show them that it can be done.:poke:

I read an article some time ago that voiced the opinion that the technology of 4 wheeling was making the whole thing too easy, so just about anybody can go where ever they point the machine. Ho Hum.:dunno:

IO, your right a lot of guys that don't know how to drive spend big money buying a built rig that will go any where they point it. The trouble is they don't know what to do when something doesn't go right. The Sami that rolled twice on this trip is one of those guys. He's new to the sport and didn't know what he was doing, but his rig got him to the point of no return. the rest of us, some with less capable rigs, and better drivers made the same obstacles with no problems.
