Build Thread JK wheels on a CJ?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but I couldn't find anything else thru searching...Has anyone installed newer model JK wheels on a CJ? I know the lug pattern is different and would require adaptors, but my wife really wants some 17 or 18 inch factory aluminum wheels on her '78 CJ7 and I'm seeing complete sets with tires pretty cheap these days...Thanks!
