Anyway, we work hard at this because, as some of you know, my nephew, who is now 13, had a stroke 18 months ago.

If you guys can help in anyway, even just a show of support here or whatever, Bubba will appreciate it

With a family history of heart problems and the men on my dad's side dying young
from heart attacks, a heart murmur myself that was discovered when I first joined the military
now I'm told it's gone, sometimes it goes away with age, so that's good.

Seeing kids with heart problems and having a healthy child of my own it's the least I can do, so I gave a little.

Someone made an anonymous donation of $386 to put Bubba over the $1000 goal we had set.

When I registered Bubba, it recommended that we use $100 for the goal. CJ put us beyond that immediately, so I raised it to $500 thinking that it was a reasonable goal. Brockgrimes, coldwater, barley and cokerjr (the last 2 from other sites) put him beyond that. Then along came a donation from... um, who was that guy.... oh yeah, tdhofstetter or someone like that And now this last donation....

You guys always use the phrase "Its a Jeep thing." And when I welcome people here, I usually spout off about us being family. I think its a combination of both.

I am feeling the love!! Thank you guys I am proud, and happy, to be part of this family

And as for Bubba... if his school can raise so much in donations, he gets to throw a pie in his teachers face. This is a teacher he doesnt like.
AND his PE teacher is going to dye his hair orange for a few weeks and kiss a pig (his wife said it was ok...)

Big goals for a little school.

Well with less than 10 donations and over a grand they are well on their way.

If the school raises $7500, they throw the pies. $8500 and over, the pe teacher dyes his hair and kisses the pig. (Yes, CJ, I was wrong and my sister set me straight.) Last year, the school raised $7000.
