June 2009 Sideways
Vintage EditionThis picture is of my mother (pictured by jeep) and her older sister and younger brother. They are all deceased. I found the picture in her possession after she died. I date it from 1943 to 1945. All of the people in the picture were living in the Springfield, Illinois, area at the time but may have visited Camp Forrest, Tennessee. I do not know where the picture was taken but sure would like to. A friend at work touched up the picture-straightened, enhanced and applied colors.
