K5 Jeep JK hood
I have always like the early '70's K5 Blazers, and the Jeep JK is a very hot 4x4 these days, but can you combine them?
Ansani Designs has just released this K5 JK hood. I'm not really sure about it. The idea is cool as it should increase under hood room for big engine swaps, but the look is a unusual, but it may just be because it's so different yet subtle. Plus the visibility would likely be worse. What do you think?
here is the press release:
Ansani Designs is now shipping the follow-up to its award-winning JK Wrangler Induction Hood. The new "K5" version extends the factory lines with a higher, broader, more muscular profile inspired by the classic Chevy Blazer. Ansani Designs created the new hood in response to enthusiast requests for a lighter-weight hood that increases engine-compartment space. A uni-directional fiberglass manufacturing process provides about a 50 percent weight savings while still keeping the hood rigid at highway speeds. Factory hardware is reused, and the K5 JK Hood ships in a primer-ready gelcoat finish. For more information, contact Ansani Designs, 480-584-6292.
